NHS Royal Devon Expands Cancer Services with New Investments and Patient-Centered Initiatives

”We have recently been successful in gaining investment to recruit more nurses across our services but these include chemotherapy nurses, clinical nurse specialists and clinical leadership positions. This increase in staff resource is much needed to manage the growth in cancer at present.

We work closely with our local charities, FORCE and ELF to support patients in our service and very excited to be working with the CHEMOtivation team in the future. We know that patients will get will be very grateful for the ‘hope in a tote’ bag at the start of their treatment.

We continue to offer chemotherapy treatments at our outreach location in Ottery St.Mary, this is very popular with patients who aren’t able to easily travel into the hospital.
