The charity was launched at Hatherleigh Community Centre on Saturday 28th September with a Big Breakfast from 8.30-11.30am to raise awareness and recruit a team of volunteers to help raise funds.

Incredible support from Hatherleigh and friends with

182 BREAKFASTS SOLD AND £2300 RAISED!

These figures exceeded all our expectations and we were delighted by this level of support and good will for the event. The trustees were all present and, with the volunteers, cooked the breakfasts, sold draw tickets and generally talked to everyone about CHEMOtivation.

Local businesses and friends kindly donated the ingredients for amazingly tasty breakfast.

CHEMOtivation would like to say a huge thank you to everyone. We have started and will gradually work to achieve our goal of providing everyone receiving cancer treatment in the Cherry Brook with a ‘Hope in a Tote’ bag to support them through treatment.

We hope to issue the first of these in March 2025 to people in the areas that have supported CHEMOtivation with funds.
